The Rim of The World Historical Society was founded in 1986. The Historical Society began as part of an “election platform” in Crestline’s annual race for Honorary Mayor. Originally known as the Crest Forest Historical Society, the group soon found itself representing all west-end mountain communities from Snow Valley to Cedarpines Park.
In 1997, the name was changed to the Rim of the World Historical Society. Today you can go on The Rim of The World Historical Society’s web site and find information on just about any community located near and around Lake Arrowhead. It is a great reference for general facts and history on the mountain area. To visit the Historical Society’s web site, CLICK HERE
